Results will be out this Friday, 2.30pm in case you guys havent read the press release or heard the radio (or you choose to be oblivious to it). Haha can't wait for it. It doesnt affect me much because whether i make it or not, i'm still going to study in my field of interest. Of course it's along the line of tourism and hospitality. Was just telling a friend how excited i am in wanting to begin to study. I guess it's really different when you actually
want to study instead of
needing to study. Can't wait. =) of course the results do make a difference to which school i'm going to apply to and of course the difference between a degree and a diploma. But at least i've found myself an alternative that is related to my interest. Because of that (don't tell me i'm not supposed to start a sentence with 'because'), i'm not entirely worried about my results. Sadly, i can only begin studying 2 years later. But don't get me wrong, i look forward to serving NS too. Fourty odd more days to go. Less than 7 Weeks. =) how time flies.
Speaking about Tourism and Hospitality, i totally cant stand people who tell me... "it's a blooming industry", "it's going to be useful when the IR starts", etc. I'd say "fuck. the reason for me wanting to do that is not because of all these so-called optimistic business opportunities." of course, i usually omit the word 'fuck' when i tell people that. but really, i think it's a shame if you want to do tourism and hospitality related field of study if you have no interest. i can anticipate what people will do or say. trust me when i say i've seen people like that. if you have no interest in something, or you cant decide on which field to study, i'm sorry but i'm going to say you're really indecisive and you should have figured this out long ago. Not knowing what to do in life is... stupid in my opinion. It's waking up everyday without a goal. Not knowing why are you waking up for (no, not for breakfast). It's just damn sad if you dont understand yourself well enough to make such a decision. Damn i cant stand indecisiveness. I will make decisions regardless whether it'll be right or wrong. i'm not the kind that will spend 30minutes deciding what to eat. or spend 3months deciding whether hospitality is the right course for me. if i want it, i go straight into it. if it's a bad choice, too bad, i've taken it and i'll make do with it. like what the subaru guy said in the papers today (sorry i cant remember his name? haha),
make mistakes, but learn from them. okay lah he said it in a more hostile way, something about him wanting to throw the book at you if you keep making the same mistakes. but at 29 years old, he's pretty damn successful.
met biyang and weibaibites(as how biyang will put it) for gym/swim the other day and that particularly stupid exercise always cause me to have cramps on my upper arm. zzz okay now i've to photocopy like 1000 copies of stuff now. no i'm not exaggerating. i cant even press 1000 and wait, coz it's 5 copies of the 200 copies each. o.O laters then.
