I've just created a formula sheet in excel to aid me in my calculations. =) i love making templates but i believe alot of you may already know. Went out with benben last night coz it was his off day and while he wanted to get his new year clothing, he wanted to complain about some matters too. Spent quite some time near cuppage talking and i shared with him my dream university. =) like how we have concluded, the rich will always get the upper hand in everything in life. funny how money can buy material and non-material things. money fuels just about everything in life. the economy, relationships, etc. as superficial as this may sound, money can buy everything in life (at least, i believe so). you know how people used to say "money cant buy you happiness" and of course there's the cliche (no, i'm not going to look for the right 'e') follow-up line which says "without money you cant buy anything/without money you can do nothing/etc." (basically, just trying to say you're shit without coins and notes). i was tuning in to the radio on my way to work today and there was this song that was entitled "the best things in life are free" or something.
sure.
think oxygen. o2. so in case you're suffering from the mess, i'm dyslexic ): (actually i'm really not dyslexic. i'm trying to find an excuse to justify my poor organisation, etc.) my two main arguments (damn this sounds almost like GP) are that,
  1. Money CAN buy you EVERYTHING.
  2. Best things in life ARE NOT free. (you see, generalizing provokes discontentment and discussion.)

As much as i hate to mention the fact that money can indeed buy everything (yes, including the big Love), it really is a fact of life (through my eyes, so dont slam me). I'm not an honourary member of the CB-Club (Cynical Bitch Club, not Hokkien Flare), but i really do think money can buy everything. Singapore is now thinking about legalising the transfer of organs. I'm talking about a monetary and non-monetary trade now. With money you can buy a new kidney, lungs, heart, brain, and whatever that needs to be replaced. I'm not into the whole Grey's Anatomy thing, so that's about all the organs i remember. I'm also dead sure that most, if not all JC students, have dealt with the topic of cloning. With money you can create (yes, create) the perfect (according to your own definition) baby, the perfect maid (she may be a cyborg though), etc. (fuck, i love using etc. etc. etc.)
With money too, you can buy love. People who know me, i'm not a believer of love. Well, i do love all my friends and my parents most of the time, but i'm not at all a believer of romantic and passionate love. Like how i'll always laugh when people use the word forever. Then again, werent we brought up in a way to deal with changes? Isnt adaptability a trait that most companies look for when you go for an interview? Why then are we harping on the whole idea of eternity. I'm digressing. With money, as i've said, you can buy passionate and romantic love. Who cares if it's real when it feels real. Honestly speaking, you really dont know if the bag you get off a designer boutique is real. But 999 out of 1000 people will just take it as it is. I mean, hey, i paid like 4 digits for this shit, so it better has to be real. In the course of doing that, you subconciously feel satisfied after paying a huge amount for something most people wouldnt bear to pay. In short, if i'd to see two similiar LV Bags, one for $100 and one for $4000 (yes, both are real), definitely most of us will think the $100 one is fake. In this case, money buys you assurance. It makes you believe what you want to believe. the same thing applies for love. heck you cant buy true love with money but who gives a shit when it feels like real. now i really feel like writing an entire post dedicated to how money gives people security. sadly, i'm one of those where money can give me assurance and i feel vulnerable without yusolf hiding behind the leather sheets in my pants (no pun intended here). now you know why my essays always go out of focus.

on my second point, not all good things in life are free. do i even need to say more?
i need a finger warmer, the aircon is freezing my fingers and they feel like they're gonna fall off anytime (finger warmers remind me of nipple warmers - which i'm not even convinced that they exist but Fahizul insists so).
Water is free, but not free.
Air is free, but not free.
If you dont get what i mean, i'm gonna explain my point just a little. Water is free, but portable water is not, the desalination process, etc (see?) costs alot of money. Think the same way for air. Then again, BEST refers to only one and BEST THINGS (plural is really an oxymoron in itself? or am i wrong again).
Nothing is free.
I just removed a block of uncensored and explicit discussion about how sex is not free.
Okay, the invoices are coming in now. The discussion can wait til, tomorrow maybe.
I want 12pm to come. I want lunch. ):
