maybe it isnt safe yet. tried to use the com this morning and it restarted at least 6 times. alas, i got it to work, but i believe that once i get home again, it will not be working. damn com. i'm so sick of reinstalling everything. it takes 2hrs. and after work, i spend only like 4hrs at home before i go to bed, so really, 2hrs is significant. i wonder what is wrong. everything seems to be screwing up on me. See how technology screws up on me:
  1. My iPod's battery died
  2. My computer is addicted to restarting.
  3. My digital camera's zoom button has problems and it hangs the playback.
  4. My handphone is missing.
  5. My keyboard has sticky buttons (no, not literally. but they dont come up after pressing them)

Now let us estimate the cost of repairing them and getting my life back the way it used to be. $600+$2499+$800+$900+$200=$4999
that is the crazy amount i have to spend if i were to 'renew' each damaged item.
now let's calculate how much i'm actually going to spend.

  1. I'm not caring about the iPod. so explicit cost incurred = $0
  2. I'm not going to buy a new com and i'll still try to fork out 50% of my time at home to fix it. explicit cost incurred = $0
  3. Not going to fix/buy a new one right now, but i'm eyeing a DSLR if i am to go overseas next month. (estimated cost = $2499) currently, explicit cost incurred = $0
  4. I need a handphone. as much as i dont want to admit it. i'll probably spend $500 on this one. explicit cost that will be incurred = $500
  5. insignificant. cost = $0

Okay now let's calculate the implicit costs. hahah okay i'm just kidding. i do miss economics though i have a 80% chance of failing it in A Levels. =) whatever. that can wait til March. or end Feb. just so you havent realised, i just got back from lunch and i have 45 more minutes before my lunch break ends. i wonder how's fahizul's first day at work. i want to swim. and i want to run. but i want to run on the damned track and i dont wanna swim at pervert's haven (people know it as Yio Chu Kang Swimming Complex). and i hope my legs recover fully soon. i cant even go running like this.
