i've never felt so tired in just 7hrs before. and it's not even for a good cause. it's due to shopping. =/ okay i got shirts/tshirts and most importantly, i've got 2 interesting reads (well, i havent read them but i think they will be.) let me blind-recommend the book.
THE END OF POVERTY - HOW WE CAN MAKE IT HAPPEN IN OUR LIFETIME by Jeffrey Sachs
THE UNDERCOVER ECONOMIST by Tim Harford.
i guess many of you would have read the latter book but please please read the first one too. Since i'm recommending books, i might as well recommend 2 books i just finished reading.
TALK TO THE SNAIL by STEPHEN CLARKE (and of course a year in the merde. duh.)
WHY DO MEN FALL ASLEEP AFTER SEX (it's easy to find. i'm too lazy to type in the two authors.)
After reading 2 light hearted books, i thought i should switch to something more serious. Girlgirl, arent you actually amazed i finished a book? well, 2 books to be exact. i'll pass FREAKONOMICS back to you after i read about poverty, which really is the more pressing problem. Say HELLO to an all new hobby. =) READING. i'm proud of myself. After being so oblivious to books around me, my job has actually encouraged me to read the news and the books. i love my job and i love my colleagues. i love my life.
being in town during the sale period sucks. benben was in town too, pity i didnt get to see him today. saw jenrine and xiaohui(okay i didnt physically see xiaohui, but jenrine told me she was there) at paragon working. =) jenrine said she saw YangLS too. like today. =/ thank god i missed her, or else, she'll psycho me again. the last time she talked to me, she asked me about my personal problems. psychotic i tell you. like i needed counselling. hahah.
it's 2007 and i'll be entering NS this year. i cant wait actually, minus the fact that i have to train up right now and i really need some discipline to stick to what i've planned. haha. okay i'm going back to the books right after i've showered. looking forward to tomorrow. =) it's going to be a fun fun day again. =)
